Bachelor of Dental Surgery is a 5 years programme with 4 Academic years and one year of compulsory paid rotatory internship. In the first two years students are taught basic medical science subjects and basics of dentistry (Dental Anatomy and dental materials). From third years onwards students start learning about the different branches of Dentistry and attend the clinics. For surgery and medicine clinical practice students go to Sri Sukhmani Multispeciality Hospital within the campus. BDS course at Sri Sukhmani Dental College and Hospital is being conducted according to approved regulation of the Dental council of India and Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot.
